About “The Mighty Fortress”
Foundation “The Mighty Fortress” (Stichting “De Vaste Burcht”) is a Christian organization, founded in 1980 out of private initiative. The aim is to relieve the fate of the poor, the oppressed, the needy, the orphans and widows; to build community centers, to support congregations and to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In principle we work world-wide, but it turned out India is our main concentration area. We predominantly work in the deep forested jungle of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, for instance among the Khond population. To cut it short: we work in areas no one else works!
We build community centres, manage sewing centres, pay a small compensation to bare footed Pastors and run several Bible schools.
